Welcome to Rice Lake

We, the resorts and businesses appearing on this web site are members of the Rice Lake Tourist Association, the RLTA, which has been in existence for well over fifty years. Although we are independent owners and operators of tourist related enterprises, we are united and strongly committed to providing the very best value for your holiday dollars.

Collectively our focus primarily is the preservation and improvement of the health of Rice Lake itself including all aspects of the fishery, environmental concerns as well as issues involving safety and community relations.

We regularly have meetings and communication with Ontario Ministries such as Natural Resources, Environment and Transportation as well as with other provincial tourist and naturalist organizations. In particular our association works closely with both the Northumberland and the Peterborough and Kawartha Tourist Associations.

Today the watch word in our business is “sustainability” with emphasis on going “green”. We are working toward that ideal and appreciate your help in our efforts.

Please browse our website and feel assured that you will be most heartily welcomed at our beautiful Rice Lake. Each of our resorts offers a unique experience with a wide range of activities, but all of us share a common enthusiasm nourished by our fabulous surroundings and the satisfaction that comes from serving our clients well. At Rice Lake there’s something for everyone. See you soon!
